My favorite Chinese restaurant in pittsburgh. I have been going here since I was a little kid, and have seen the restaurant go through some changes but all in all the food is great here. And I mean consistently great every time. The chicken and beef dishes are stars my favorite is the Kung Pao chicken. Also they do a really affordable lunch special and are very fast for pick ups. I can’t speak for the other ones but Definitely go to the sesame inn in north hills so worth it.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!. I’d rank this lower, if able. I picked up an order to go and the General Tsao’s sauce (which was asked to be packaged separately) was broken open. The entire bag was filled with the sauce. For one, it ruined the meal and two it leaked through the paper bag and through a slit in the plastic bag. The sauce was all over the front seat of my brand new Jeep. I called and asked for the manager and explained someone must have packed it incorrectly, because the sauce was on the bottom and the food on top of it (not smartly packed). He called me a liar and said there’s no way it happened, but I’ve pictures to prove it and he hung up on me. NEVER, EVER GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. The smart@ss manager needs to be fired, but I’ve found it, it’s the owner’s son, so he must think he has the freedom to tell customers what he likes. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
Love it. Pecking duck is the best. Prices on higher side , but good portion. Cozy environment.
Disaster from the moment we walked in. Our tea was cold. Our waitress treated us like we interrupted her dinner…she came to our table with a full mouth of food two times. Food was nothing special. She Never came back to check on us at all except to give us the check. Not a chance I’m having dinner there again.
Another less than mediocre restaurant. It has the same menu as another Chinese place. Greasy food swimming in starchy soy sauce flavored liquid substance. Go spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
