The smell of urine greets you as you enter (dirty restrooms up front). Appetizer was good. The food was cold. Wilted brown lettuce salad. Will not be back:(
The female bartender was not friendly at all . The quality of the food was awful. We sent back our steaks because they were extremely overlooked. The chicken wings were undercooked.. The male waiter was very nice but the manager was very defensive and rude! I won’t go back because of the treatment from male manager. Even 2 of the staff said they hated him. He said he would discount our meal and when I got the bill there was a discount but then I saw he added 2 extra meals we never ordered when I asked about it he said I can’t give you everything for free. I said I don’t want free I just don’t want tricked. He got mad and told me to leave. As I was leaving he said he was going to call the police because I didn’t pay!! So I called the police and he changed his tune and signed a paper saying he told him to leave with no charge for meals ! Very bad management!!!!
Good ribs. We tend to get takeout ribs from here while I’m at work. Not the best ribs on the planet but I recommend them if your looking for BBQ in the Robinson area. They have good flavor and come right off the bone. It’s not Clems or Pittsburgh BBQ Co., but good luck getting ribs at midnight from them! I haven’t has anything but the baby back ribs, corn bread, and broccoli but they have always been good. Cant speak for anything else on the menu lol.
Terrible all around!. My 2 friends got married, had a very small wedding. Their favorite place is Smokey Bones, for the pulled pork sammy. So all 8 of us went there after the ceremony. I hadn’t been since the place opened years ago, & the menu was very different. I got the Pretzel Bones to start, which were very good, but you only get 4 pretzel sticks for about $8. My margarita was cheaper than that, & made very badly. When I asked my waitress about the drink, she just gave me excuses as to how it COULD NOT have been mixed wrong. There was too much of 1 flavor, & not enough of the others in my drink, so much that it made me gag. And the waitress didn’t care! Then my entree came. My side of mac & cheese was good, & even the mashed potatoes with gravy was good. Most places have very bland, disgusting gravy. But my entree itself…I forget the name, but it was 2 chicken breasts w BBQ sauce, cheese, peppered bacon & onion strings on top. It had ZERO flavor! How do you make peppered bacon that tastes like absolutely nothing is beyond me, but they managed it. I saw the BBQ sauce on the chicken, but I couldn’t taste it at all, same with the cheese. There were supposed to be herbs & spices on the chicken, as well, but that was bland as can be, too. I would’ve thought it was just MY taste-buds, except that I could taste the side dishes just fine. I didn’t bother asking the waitress about my meal, since she wasn’t helpful when I had a problem with my drink. Speaking of drinks, I changed from my margarita to a flavored tea. That was bland as well. Tasted like it was unsweetened, but they don’t offer sugar at the tables. I will NEVER go again. Or if I have to go again, I’ll just eat an appetizer & be done with it.
Mans bar. This is a great place to go watch the game and is definately geard towards males, although there are no gimmicks into making it a guys place the FOH staff is almost 99% female during every shift and although service isnt that great (especially during sporting events) they make up for it in charm. would tell my friends and family to go there for the game but with olive garden red lobster and joes crab shack nearby i wouldnt dine for the sake of it.
Pleasantly surprised. I took my daughters tonight and had a much better experience than I was expecting. Their meats were all perfectly cooked; the ribs were as good as I ever had and the rub and sauces were good. It’s been probably 3 years since I was in the chain. It won’t be that long the next time.
Usually come here because I don’t like waiting in line and third place usually has no lines. Took 10 minutes to seat us even though there were plenty of visible empty seats. I have been to bbq joints all over the Us and I don’t remember it taking 30 minutes to get pulled pork and beef brisket. The food is ok. Not great bbq. Probably not coming back unless the lines are really long at the other places.
