Service seemed slow and overworked, even though not many people there. I ordered the bbq grilled chicken, spicy sausage, and brisket. BBQ sauce covers a multitude of sins but this was very hard to swallow. It’s pretty bad. The sausage was dried and tough like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The grilled chicken faired much worse and was not only tough, but in some places it was so crunchy I had to spit it out. While the brisket was not as tough, it did taste like boiled pot roast… Or essentially no flavor at all. I would say that my tea was good… But I asked for no lemon as I’m sensitive to citric acid and it came with lemon. Overall horrible food and the service was marginal. The manager was nice enough to comp my meal, which I didn’t expect.
First trip to a Smokey Bones. All of our food was awesome, except for the pulled pork. Spicy sausage was phenomenal, so I highly recommend it. Service was good, but cooking was slow, almost an hour after ordering. Manager apologized for slow cooking and did the right thing. I definitely will go back again.
Good Time. We normally patronize the Greensburg location but found ourselves in Robinson Twp. with a party of 8. Everything went well from the courteous staff to the competence of the cooks. We’re going back this weekend and looking forward to it!
