Atmosphere: Very boring and boxy, not well lit. The floors were littered with napkins and all of the excess dirt was pushed under the hostess table. The paintings on the wall weren’t that great, but they do get points for trying to support local artists by letting the clientele have the option to purchase them. Service: We had two waitresses come and ask for our initial drink order. We were delivered the wrong order right off the bat. The staff was friendly, but we were visited very infrequently for drink refills and to see if we needed anything else. The establishment wasn’t very crowded and it also took us 45-50 minutes to receive our meal. It took us a good bit to get our check after asking for it. Food Quality: Typical bar food, nothing special. The soup was served lukewarm and I had to ask to have my side salad prior to receiving my meal. Don’t order the Cuban, you will be disappointed in the quantity of meat you receive. The overwhelming favorite at the table was the buffalo mac n’ cheese. Overall, not a great place mainly because the food was subpar and the time it took to get out drink, eat, and get our check was painful.
We really liked our food at Stoke’s. They had a pretty big list of soups that sounded delicious, and wide selection of beers.The Monte Cristo Sandwich (ham, turkey, and provolone sandwich) was quartered, battered, and fried. The roasted red pepper aioli (red pepper mayo) made for a nice dipping sauce. The broccoli salad was a very nice surprise. The broccoli was fresh and raw, the red onion was not overtly oniony, and the dressing was slightly sweet and just enough so you could still taste the other ingredients.On another Yelper’s tip, I tried the Ropa Vieja. It’s a pressed sandwich featuring slightly spicy shredded pork (carnitas pork) and roasted red peppers with a side of au jus. I selected the onion rings for my side, which were definitely a hit with the batter staying on the onion and not sliding off. thesugarpixie.net

Good food but oh, the wait!. Great food and beer but understaffed and slooooowww. Unless you have 90 minutes to get a sandwich, keep going. Too bad, has the potential to be great.
Great bar food and craft beer selection. Food is consistent and well priced. One of the best craft beer selections in the North Hills.
Long wait again….. Stopped tonight with 2 others and it seemed pretty busy but didn’t have to wait for a table.The last 2 times I’ve been there its taken over an hour to get our food. Food is good but I have to say unless you are not bothered with an hour wait whether it’s busy or not then this is an ok place.
Large Sandwich Selection. They have a large sandwich selection to choose from including wraps. The chicken wrap we tried was very good. The mac and cheese was also good. The service we received though was a little slow. The person who waited on us seemed like they were not fully trained. The domestic beer prices are high compared to others in the area.
