They have good bar food and drink specials. The pretzels with beer cheese, and the buffalo chicken pizza are delicious. I also really like the build your own burger plus the variety of side dishes to choose from.
Overpriced menu and overcooked food!. My husband and I went to the South Park Clubhouse for the last time yesterday! We both ordered the Shrimp Dinner which costs $16.00. For that, you get 5 medium frozen shrimp which have been pounded flat and only one side! The shrimp were overcooked and the side was not enough to fill either of us. No rolls were offered and I don’t think it would have killed them to include a small dish of cole slaw. Needess to say, we needed a snack when we got home!
Wings were good, service was just OK, and the beer is outrageously overpriced.. I went to this establishment for the first time over the weekend. I ordered 1 order of wings and 3 beers, and my total was over $50. OK, i did order a seasonal beer, and was well aware of how expensive it is to purchase, but when the markup is well over 100% I believe that is outrageous. I had expected it to be no more than $11 or 12 a bottle, imagine my surprise when I got my bill and I had paid $16 a bottle. I will not return to this establishment just because of this, I understand needing to make a profit, but this is just robbery. I know I can buy a case of what I drank for $83 a case meaning each bottle would cost me $6.92 each (12 bottles to a case), and I am sure since they buy product in bulk they get an even better price than I do at the distributor.
Decent food and beer selection-nothing spectacular though. I ate here this past Wednesday on a date after a walk around South Park and was not left with a strong impression either way. They had a decent draft selection and we were greeted and brought drinks quickly. I had the grilled turkey , bacon, and swiss on the pretzel roll.I was surprised to find that it had no sauce on it so with a side of honey mustard, this was a decent sandwich. I chose sweet potato fries and if they would have been hot they would have been good I think. Truthfully, the sandwich was large enough to satisfy so I did not really care about the fries. I ended up taking part of the sandwich home anyways. My date ordered the French dip with mushrooms and onions. He said it was good and of course it came with a side of au jus. I’d come back here again and maybe try something different or just have a couple beers.
Worst bartenders. Sat for 20 mins and waited for someone to ask me what I’d like to drink, and when that did happen it took 10 mins to get a draft and then when I needed another, the blonde walked by me 5 times and not once asked if I needed another, and I wasn’t the only one, the couple next to me also couldn’t get drinks, if your employees were more friendlier and didn’t have a stick up their ass it would probably be more enjoyable also put more people on or get a bartender without an attitude…This is my 2nd terrible experience and I’ll never be back…
Heather was such a delight! The appetizers brought us to tears of JOY! You must try the quasidilla, Your mouth will tell you what your heart is already whispering.
Banquet. It was terrible. The salads were wilted, the fruit cup was warm. The pasta was soggy. The service was bad. What a terrible shower for the couple to be.
