A little bit of NYC in Pa. We have always loved the Carnegie Deli in NYC and were thrilled it came here to Bethlehem! The Pastrami Sandwich is outrageous but expensive, still it can feed a family of 4 if you get a couple of extra pieces of bread. .. that is you you want to share. Their giant Potato Knishes are amazing with a touch of mustard, sort of like amazingly flavored mashed potatoes wrapped in a savory pastry, 1 can feed 2 people. Their pickles are as not something you can find everywhere and we find ourselves fighting over them. If you happen to have room for the cheesecakes you won’t be disappointed, equally large and delicious alone or with a topping. If you go for a shake you’ll be wishing for more. Our only complaint is that the kids can’t actually eat here with us since there is no exterior door so they don’t walk through the casino. It’s a pain to need to always do takeout but still, it’s worth it so we do it.
