Beautiful restaurant with a huge selection of great wines. Food is good but don’t order the beef tip risotto- 4 small pieces of very fatty beef. The flavor of the risotto & mushrooms was good.
First time here and I was impressed with both food and service. I was a little disappointed that I miss read the menu thinking I was getting prime rib. Haha. Brian straightend me out. Great job
Fair food for great expense with obnoxious service. Where can you spend a lot of money for mediocre fair, and then get snubbed by the food manager Karen? Look no further than this place. Having placed our orders we had to ask several times to get some wine refills. When the salads arrived they had been plated by a child. Multiple pieces of lettuce with no one offering pepper or cheese? Then the main meals were myopic compared with better restaurant of the same price range. My wife’s crab cake, mostly bread, and two spoonfuls if that. When we requested someone come over to complain it took several tries before Karen the food manager appeared. Right off the bat she made it our problem and not hers or the restaurants fault. Started to defensive, angry, and then walks off!! I can get better attention to detail at a Burger King than this retched individual. A manager? No way. I and my friends and business associates will take our wallets elsewhere. There are way too many other places that charge the same, but know how to treat a customer than this excuse of a restaurant.
Delicious – 5 Stars for sure!. My sister and I headed to Bethlehem this past Saturday the 15th to do some shopping therapy and have lunch. Bethlehem has some great restaurant to choose from but we decided to go to Corked. Not knowing what to expect from their lunch menu we were pleasantly surprised by the selections. We opted to sit at the bar area which has modern yet calming feel. We started off with a glass of Riesling wine which was very good. Having so many great options to choose from we decided on 4 plates to share. Our bartender had each plate spaced out perfectly so we could enjoy without feeling rushed. We started with the Crispy Duck Confit Spring Rolls which were amazing. Next we had the Wedge salad which was crisp and fresh but could have used a tad more dressing but was still delicious. Next came the Bourbon Short Rib Pizza which when it came out it all the right senses. It looked beautiful and smelled awesome. The flavors were just supper great the crust was crisp yet had a great chew and the short rib was tender and flavorful with that bourbon glaze. We knew we werent going to be able to finish it so we had half boxed to go. Final courses well lets just say we saved the best for last the Rigatoni Vodka. Folks if you order this beware youre going to want to go face first. Pasta was cooked perfect and the sauce well they need to bottle that stuff it was like a dream dish(We some home). Compliments to our female bartend and to the chefs we had an amazing experience and well be back during our holiday shopping and hopefully squeeze in a dessert. This place is priced right for the quality and quantity of food and service you receive
BUMMER. Absolutely terrible wait service as well as customer service. Food was not as you would expect – long, long wait and subsequently overcooked. They will have to do better than this if they want to continue in downtown Bethlehem. Many other restaurants have excellent service and food in historic downtown Bethlehem.
Excellent Experience. Went out for a birthday dinner to Corked, despite split reviews. Service was friendly and excellent. To note, the restaurant was not terribly busy. Had tuna tartar as an appetizer and salmon and wild boar as entrees both of which were also very good. I had called prior to the visit to ask if they celebrated birthdays, to which they said they could do something special with a dessert if you alerted your server. I could not convince my boyfriend to order dessert. However, the girl I spoke with over the phone must have made a note and our waiter brought over a small sorbet with a candle in it. Considering I didn’t speak with anyone about the birthday upon arrival, I was very impressed by this. The sorbet was also complimentary. The gesture and good service left me very impressed.
Ordered the feliet medium. Came out well done. Manager came out to apologize which was nice. When the order came back, the steak was medium rare (not a real problem) but the potatoe and veggies were cold. Both times the sour cream came out, the oils were separating, obviously prepared waaaay earlier that day. Not worth the $50.
