Beef Wellington Deconstructed!. I ordered Beef Wellington for $38. The small piece of beef came with a cracker on top. When the manager came by to inquire about our food, I told him that Beef Wellington is supposed to be wrapped in pastry; he rudely replied this is Beef Wellington Deconstructed. Are you for real? My husband ordered the Filet Mignon which was the size of a dime all by itself on the place (all sides are extra). This was embarrassing to say the least. A special anniversary dinner was ruined. Dinner for 4 came to $320. One drink each and one dessert shared by all. Shame on you Emeril.P.S. The wait staff was superb.
Huge disappointment, Emeril would be mortified. My wife and I ate here with my parents. They seem to see a silver lining in it that we have yet to find.Being a celebrity restaurant we had certain expectations, nothing extreme but at the very least emeril’s trade mark bam would have been nice. The service was pretty decent and the waitstaff were very helpful. Water was not replenished without a direct request and it too a little too long for drink service. With drinks in hand our thirst was satiated. We started with an appetizer of charcuterie which consisted of three cured meats, three cheeses and antipasto. This we really enjoyed and was the highlight of our evening. If you do go here, get the charcuterie, My wife had the ribeye which was not done to perfection and was lacking in flavor. My veal saltimbocca was rich, however lacked flavor. My pop got the veal francaise which he did share& I must admit it was very tasty. Capers and lemon in a rich buttery sauce. This had bam. My mom had the branzini which she really liked. We cut our losses and skipped desert. I’d return to eat with my parents because they truly enjoy it. I wouldn’t bother returning on my own, given it’s pricepoint it’s simply not worth it. Sadly not nearly enough bam. Boo.
I have ate at Shulas, Blue, Mortons, Capital Grill and everywhere in between and this is the best steak I have ever had. The filet literally melts in your mouth and the sauces compliment the steak so perfectly. Highly recommend it!
Bartenders are great!!!. The bar and bartenders are what saves this place for me. The restaurant itself is very busy and very overpriced for the tiny portions that you get. But the bartenders are so outgoing and friendly and make some of the most amazing cocktails I have ever had!!! I will definitely continue to go back.
Emeril would not be happy here. Steaks over cooked. Plating was horribly poor. Needs to get some quality control in here with both the food and the staff.
Very disappointed. Not up to the standards of Emeril’s Chophouse. If you are looking for authentic Italian food this is not the place. Sauces are too rich and too many entrees come in rustic bowls for no really good reason. Dinner ends up being a soupy stew. Expensive and disappointing. Waitress had to be reminded that we ordered sides. They arrived several minutes after we had started eating our entrees. Saw her running back to the kitchen – think she forgot. Not worth the price for the food and service you receive. Go elsewhere.
A lot has changed in the past couple months, as a returning customer to the great bartenders, servers, and managers, you can really tell these people want you to feel at home. They’ve made a lot of adjustments due to feedback such as, those packaged breadsticks are gone and they have fresh bread baked in house now with a different homemade butter everytime that never disappoints. The food is delicious, drinks including all Italian wine is amazing, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
