  I had been occasionally passing Europa for a couple years, and it also caught my eye as I grew up eating Portuguese BBQ and have missed it since moving from the New York area. I finally decided to stop for lunch. If you are stopping in to have a sit down meal, it may look like take-out only at first glance, but you will have to proceed through a closed door into an adjacent dining room. The atmosphere is no frills, but the servers are welcoming and very friendly. We ordered the shrimp in garlic appetizer. The excessive oil may seem excessive, however, is normal in Spanish and Portuguese cuisine, and is great to dip your bread in once you’ve finished the appetizer. For an entree, we split the mixed grill platter which featured Portuguese sausage, beef ribs, pork ribs, half a chicken, and beef steak. If you’ve never had Portguese sausage, it is one of those ‘love it or hate it’ endeavors as the contents are finely ground like most, but rather course pieces of various pork parts. I happen to like it, and it was grilled nice and crispy. The pork ribs and steak were nicely marinaded and tasty. The beef ribs, however, were a bit tough for my taste. The chicken was the highlight — Deliciously marinated, perfectly grilled, and very tender. I will definitely be heading back for more.

  Europa Restaurant offers a great selection of Portuguese cuisines. From great flavored chicken BBQ to main course meals. Highly recommend this restaurant, great prices, owners who truly appreciate people and food. Can’t wait to watch them grow.

  I always order barbecue ribs and chicken with yellow rice and it’s excellent. I was happy to see a Portuguese restaurant in the area. Highly recommended. Great food and not expensive and the staff are always friendly.
