This is the place to go when you are looking for a good hot dog at lunchtime. There are no tables to eat at, this is a grab and go take out restaurant. The hot dogs are encased on site and cooked in a smokehouse. This frankfurter is made without preservatives or nitrates. When you walk in there is a take out counter and a viewing window for you to observe. You can choose from a variety of toppings including their own special chili sauce. The sides you can have along with your lunch include a variety of chips. The menu also includes pulled pork bbq and an Italian roast beef sandwich. The prices are very reasonable and the wait time was not long. They have a special for $4.00 that includes 1 sandwich, 1 beverage, 1 bag of snacks & tax. Johnnie Lustig’s is take out and cash only.
