I was very pleased with my experience here.. The food was absolutely delicious. I can honestly say it’s some of the best Italian food I ever had.You receive a complimentary glass of wine and garlic knots upon arrival. They offer indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. The outdoor tables are first come first serve. The service was very good. Our waitress was very polite and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. It is more on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. The food was well worth it.The only negative thing I can say is that management is not very accommodating. If you for some reason wanted to change tables or asked for specific seating there’s a good chance they will deny your request. Also if you have a party of two, you have to wait for a table that sits only two. There were three open tables outside when I arrived but they made us wait until a smaller table was available.
Pat. Was not what I expected my alfredo was the most tasteless and I wasn’t asked if I wanted grated cheese on top Also we felt very rushed as we were only two people and large groups were coming in and you couldn’t have been more accommodating $$$ but the truth is we were planning a large group when my family was here for the holidays Sorry a truthful review!
Just Pass. I ordered the veal picatta tonight. It was unappealing and soupy. I had to dig for a few pieces of hard, bouncy veal in a soup of liquefied peppers. Gross. What’s worse, the server, followed by a family member or chef, asked to remove the plate and bring a box. For an untouched plate. They seemed appalled when I refused to take the slop I had to pay $22 for home in a box. It never occurred to anyone that this plate was highly unappealing. If I was a chef, or restaurant owner and a customer refused to touch their food, I’d want to know why…not march by as though the food was some infallible being. The peppers were clearly gooey slimy mush, and possibly cooked on a prior day. I’ll never eat there again. Ever.
Owned by the same family that owns Mama Nina’s , Amore and copycat italian restaurants in Lehigh valley. Very unprofessional owners that treat staff terribly. Never will return
Better than expected. I heard a lot of mixed reviews on this place but finally decided to try it. The garlic knots were good, fresh but nothing out of the ordinary. We ordered an appetizer, pan fried breaded mozzarella pieces over spinach and topped with marinara. This was absolutely fantastic. One of the best things I have eaten in the Lehigh Valley. I would return just for that. We split an entree of salmon with shrimp and scallops over pasta. It was in a spiced bruschetta-type sauce. Very good as well. Service was good, but it was a quiet night. Overall good experience.
Great food and service. Mama Nina pene is amazing!!! My second time here and it’s becoming a favorite. The portions are huge, and the personal pizza is almost a medium size.
McDonalds Coffee is Better. It’s 4:30 pm and no good coffee shop at sight so my friend and I asked one server if we could stay for coffee only. She nodded a dry yes and we proceeded to a table of our choice. Nope, she instructed us, and leads us to another table with no explanation.Nobody took our order but another server comes with two IKEA black coffees instead; spoons inside each cup, fingers gripping cups from above, no tray.Nobody asks for our evident appetite for a dessert. We called another server and ordered two desserts. One is served the other forgotten. My friend asks about cassata, server can’t explain and calls a second server who can’t understand and brings a third server who finally explains what a cassata is.Blunt service.Bad, plain coffee, much inferior than McDonalds’.I would not recommend this place.
