Very impressed with the atmosphere, food, drinks and service. Definitely bring you back to the prohibition days. Every thing I tried was top notch and waitress was very classy and fun.
Fast food?. The food was good and the service was good. However do not plan on being able to digest your last bite in comfort because the manager will come to your table and ask you to go! In at 7 and out by 9. Sadly, right before the musician began his show! Bye bye Bookstore Speakeasy.
Raw fish bad service. Went for a night out. Loved the drinks and atmosphere. Didn’t mind the expensive cocktails. Both ordered fish, one special one menu item, both pieces completely rare. Sent them back and had pretty much lost my appetite. The problem was its so dark I couldn’t see my food so I put of fish/scallop in my mouth and gagged. Had to use the flash on my husbands iPhone to look at the dish. It literally looked like it hadn’t even been put on a grill just raw fish covered in sauce. My husband got a third of the wAy through his until he realized his was rare too. They comped one meal. It was a huge disappointment.
