Great Place. We went here because of a recommendation from a friend. So glad we did. The food was great. I had a hard time deciding between 4 items on the menu, so we will be going back at least 3 more times. We had great service and a casual atmosphere. I would recommend a better system to clear the cigar smoke. I realize it is a cigar bar, but I’ve been to other cigar bars where you would never realize people were smoking.
Great Cigar Bar. What a fun place! The portions are huge and the atmosphere is fun! The new owner Steve is a great guy and he has great plans for the future! I highly recommend this place to everyone, especially if you like great beer, great cigars and great tasting food! Try the Cuban Sandwich!
Wait staff was very slow and rude. With a table of almost 10 people and only three drinks on the table multiple waitresses walked by without stopping to see if anyone needed anything. Once our waitress was flagged down (after going inside to order the first round from the bar), she only took a few orders before walking away. Waitress took empty glasses without asking if anyone needed refills. Slowest, poorest service I’ve seen in a long time. It’s a shame because its an amazing place, concept, location, food, beer and cigars but the service sets them up for failure. It’s never is good to feel like you have to beg for service.
They should change the slogan to : beer, meat, cigars, HEAVEN! I love this place. Best beer selection around. Great cigars!

Beer. Meat. Cigars.. Inscribe these words upon my tombstone because I died and went to heaven upon stepping through the door at The Wooden Match. There at 10+ rotating microbrew taps. A walk in humidor full of a huge variety of cigars, which can be enjoyed inside or in the outdoor seating area that was formerly the rail station platform. Delicious, hearty bar food. Granted, this establishment is certainly not for everyone (families who do not want their children exposed to an endless barrage of cigar smoke, people looking for the Budweisers and Millers on tap, vegetarians, etc), but the Wooden Match offers a brilliantly unique experience to those seeking it. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food prices are a little steep, but everything I have tried so far has been great. Thursday nights boast $3 drafts from 5-8 pm, which is a great deal if you want to try a couple fantastic microbrews. See you there!
