The fact that it was empty should have been a tip off. The egg rolls tasted like they were from the freezer aisle. The chicken was far from crispy – rather fatty with soggy batter. General tsos sauce had no flavor at all, and less spice.
Very good. A few menu items the other locals don’t offer, like the four happiness. Shrimp, chicken, beef, pork, veggies in a light brown sauce. Lean beef, delicious flavor and the same goes for the chicken and pork. The shrimp is large, delicious and cooked perfectly. Firm, and not at all chewy like some other restaurants shrimp dishes. The veggies are fresh and colorful and, as the rest of the food, cooked just right. I typically go for spring rolls over egg rolls but that wasn’t an option. I ordered the egg roll with shrimp and chicken and WOW! It was crispy, and absolutely delicious. Also, I had the wonton soup. The broth is light, mild, yet flavorful, and the same goes for the wonton noodles. They are thin, more white than yellow, and not thick and chewy. The meat inside has a firmer texture, and a taste that is almost sweet. Very very good! I walked here because my roommate was using my car. I didn’t have a menu so I ordered when I got there and waited on my food. There was a little boy playing peek-a-boo behind the counter. Some of his school work was hung up on the refridgerator. Very friendly family place. Nice people. Good prices. No complaints!
