An unbelievable find!Second time in! Was as good if not better!Had the pork BBQ special and it was awesome. That in addition to the Goyza appetizer was great.Just stopped in a third time. Still awesome!
Excellent food and service. We are from NYC and eat at lots of Asian restaurants. Issei Noodle puts most places in New York to shame. If it were here it would be my favorite place.Tons of variety, freshest ingredients, well-balanced flavors. The squid salad is a must have.
Soo good. Someone introduced me to Issei Noodle a couple of years ago when they had bubble tea and I went ahead and tried their noodles. SO delicious. Everything about it was good. I loved the interior, the loved the feel of the place. I loved the friendly staff.
Be prepared, you may have to wait a bit! Popular place, the food is fresh and delicious! Many items to choose from. I will definitely come back!
DISAPPOINTED. Had a wonderful experience the first time I ate a Issei Noodle, so I couldn’t wait to return. My second experience was not so wonderful. Our table was dirty, the stack of napkins on the table were splattered with food from the previous customer(s), but the food was worse. I always order the same meal from every vietnamese restaurant I go to, have been doing so for years upon years. I ordered the spring rolls, fried eggrolls and Beef Pho with bean sprouts. The spring rolls were obviously not freshly made since the wrappers were hardening. The fried eggrolls weren’t hateful but weren’t warm the whole way through, which I couldn’t understand until I heard the MICROWAVE ding. yes, I said MICROWAVE. Then my soup came. I added Sriracha, Hoison and the minimally given bean sprouts and stirred. As I stirred I noticed a bit of fat floating in the soup. So I picked it out. Then I noticed more fat. There was more fat in the bowl than meat. It was disgusting. I filled a small saucer with fat. I understand that oxtail is used when preparing the soup/broth but it seems that very fatty oxtail was used and someone forgot to skim the fat. I was brought a new bowl of soup with just sliced flank and it was good but I had a hard time sitting there eating it given the glares and smirks from the staff. I quickly finished and went to pay. While standing at the register I noticed underneath the glass a tipping chart for the paying customer to refer to. I found that to be completely tasteless. I will not be returning to Issei Noodle. Instead I will make the drive to 3rd & Reilly in Harrisburg to visit the always fresh and delicious Garden.
Awesome restaurant. Atmosphere is relaxing, service is good, and both appetizers and meals are delicious. Also one of the few good options in the area for vegans or vegetarians.
Excellent!. The Pho that my wife and I had was very good and fresh. The atmosphere was very nice as well. We come to visit Carlisle once or twice a year to see family and I am glad to see this much needed place added to the Carlisle restaurant scene.
