I’m glad I didn’t pass this place up! By the looks of the outside I thought Monami was just an average Chinese Restaurant. However, it is much more than that! Their menu has most of the traditional cooked Chinese dishes but also has a great selection of Sushi an Sashimi. I came here on a Wednesday and they had a special on their sashimi of buy 1 get the 2nd for $1. What a deal! I took advantage and had the Sake And Maguro. I added a cup of Hot & Sour with the Ginger Salad. The soup was great and had a light broth. The salad was good but I thought the dressing had a texture of pure rather than the smooth and creamy I was expecting. The Sashimi was awesome and portions we fairly cut. $11 for everything. The decor is typical of the type if restaurant with new tables and furnishings. Come here if you want to please several different palates as there are many items to select from.
