Used to enjoy Friday nights at the bar with Harry, then reasonably priced sandwiches. Now the sandwich menu has mysteriously disappeared, presumably because the owner isn’t making enough money from this format. Far be it from me to order his overpriced, undersized pasta dishes.
Turned us down for dinner service at 9:15 PM on a lovely summer Saturday evening:(I was really looking forward to trying the place.

Oh, please.. This place completely misses the mark.Food is poorly done, service staff untrained and distracting. Refreshing that they attempt something other than red-sauce Italian, but Piatto mistakes their contrived food for good food. Carlisle deserves better.
Still Good. We just ate at Piatto for the first time in over a year. I just read all the negative reviews and can’t say our experience was in common Our waitress was knowledgeable, service was quick & excellent. We both had dishes we have ordered in the past, and both were excellent, as we remembered. The owner has built a new bar which has changed the atmosphere somewhat, but we liked it — a little less staid & more folks coming & going added to festive feeling of the holidays. One thing: It IS more expensive now, due to no more BYOB — the wine list is excellent, and the prices reflect that.
Terrible. This place used to be great. Now it’s just a waste and money. I spoke with the owner/manager, about my bad experience, and he was incredibly rude!
Horrible experience. The waitress was not attentive and when we had a question about the menu, she said she didn’t know because the menu changed all the time. We ordered 2 entrees, both of which were subpar, especially for the price. 1 entree was cold when it arrived at the table. We spoke to the owner who showed no concern and was not apologetic – I don’t think he took us seriously. The meal took 1 1/2 hours and we didn’t even have an appetizer or dessert. We had to have the hostess bring lemons for the water, as we wouldn’t see the waitress for 30 minutes at a time. I will never go back – we spent $70 on 2 entrees, neither which was good, and the only professional person on the staff was the hostess.
