Great Find. Stopped here on road trip across PA. Found the place as BBQ on our way – we always stop for BBQ on the road. This place was great. Had the sampler platter of course – ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. The dry rub on the ribs was excellent, the brisket was juicy and the pulled pork was fine. One of the best measures of good BBQ places is the quality of the sides and the slaw and mac-n-cheese was very good. Oh, and they have sweet potato fries. Good sweet potato fries. Definitely will mark Redd’s as a place to stop on return trips.
Great food, front door closes too slow and you get cold every time someone enters.

Redds. Went there this past week and got wings and im not sure how you cant like them! They along with everything else are well smoked and good without sauce. The sampler is a good way to go. Fast and good service even when they seem busy. I am a fan of both sauces especially the Honey bbq on the wings along with the traditional buffalo… the tomato bbq is great on the pork products. Hopefully brisket and other items will be added soon. well worth it and i will keep returning.
I was very much hoping that the wings here would be great. The bar b que flavor of the meat was good but the sauces were very mediocre. I hate to say this but I can find better sauce at a supermarket. It was a bug letdown. I only tried the wings so I don’t know how their other menu items are.
The ribs are great, even without sauce. The substrate and tumblers are very clean. They don’t even have water spots on them. All the food looked delicious. My only complaint is they got my order confused as to go when it was dine in. I look forward to returning.
About Time. Yes Carlisle I said its about time We finally got a BBQ place worth eating at. Redd’s has new digs and it is a place to get your fix on. Service is quick even though its busy and food is plenty and done right. Not stingy on the fries and other sides and meat on big bun is plenty for even the hungriest person. You will get your monies worth.
