Fantastic restaurant, where I have have liked EVERYTHING I have ever had on the menu….The vinegar-based slaw is a must and the buffalo chicken breast dinner and bruschetta are to die for with their blue cheese homebrew sauce. Ribs are the best I have had around here with the Damn Tasty sauce….People prefer DJ’s in Weirton…NO WAY this place is better!!!
Decent BBQ,but not what it was. We moved to the area several years ago, and as this was the closest sit-down restaurant it was an early stop, which soon became a favorite. Good BBQ, or an BBQ, is not all that easy to find around here, and we really enjoyed what they served here. But things change, and not always for the better. Around 2010 they had some major changes that put us right off, and we didn’t return until about a year ago. Things have now returned to more of what we enjoyed, but some menu favorites are still gone, and the ever present Pilsner Urquell on draft has been replaced by more commonplace brews. However, when we want decent BBQ close to home, this is definitely where we go.

Damn tasty wings or pulled pork sandwich are must haves. As is the steak sandwich. Great staff, great place. Secret ge.
Used to be good. Menu changed & the service went downhill. Last time we were there my husband ordered a burger that came to the table raw. He took one bite before setting it aside. We told the waitress & the manager had her inform us the burger would not be removed from our check. She refused to come to our table & explain why. Actually up to that point she had been roaming the floor but disappeared in to the back. Terrible service.
USED to be okay…. This is one of the few non-chain restaurants around the Monaca/ Center Township area. I used to really enjoy coming here until recently. They changed their menu a little while ago and now most of their dinners (if not all) do not come with side dishes and are an extra expense if you want one- which the entre prices don’t reflect a lack of sides. If you’re going to try this place, STAY AWAY during the typical busy hours like Friday nights because their kitchen cannot handle the business. And don’t order carryout because even if it’s right (which only about half of mine have been), the food doesn’t travel well.But, even dining in has been very lack luster lately. The food takes a ridiculously long time- which I was willing to wait for good food. But, the food just isn’t good anymore. The fries are seasoned beyond the ability to consume- my kids can’t eat them at all. They’re seasoned so much that they look burnt, but it’s just the overabundance of seasoning. And the sandwich I used to love (the grilled buffalo chicken) was made terribly. This is the second time in a row my experience has been horrible and I’m not going to go back for a third. Sad to say, I’d rather go to Applebees.
