I do not agree with authentic. Go to El Rincon. They do not put potato in your chile relleno. Tonalteca needs a good cheese: Jack or ranchero, because their cheese is like melted Kraft singles. Mexican rice is not a medly of corn, carrots and peas. California fresh Mexican food is unknown, it seems, to the East coast. How gross to logo a ziggerat where 70,000 human sacrifices happened. Seriously, you good people should give El Rincon a try. Their decorAting sucks, but it would be a treat, to all, If they bought a building for NEPA folks to easily find. They need cantina decor and buisness would be great!

Chain resturaunt. There’s nothing authentic about this over priced mexican chain. Guacamole was gross. Pico did not taste fresh at all. Ordered pork tacos and the pork was tender, but they werent served with anything on them. for over 12 dollars, i was really not happy. I dont see why people eat here.

Home away from home. This is a restaurant that has not disappointed in over two years — disappointed me that is. Beware the margaritas — they buzz me past the point of really being able to finish my food, but that’s a complaint? I get to take it home. The food is first rate and the service is excellent? Authentic? Plenty — particularly if you factor in the fact that the cooks are Hispanic, how could it be otherwise? Snobs may complain, but the menu is well-crafted and always a little different, so it bears close reading. I like the chiles rellenos — not the standard wham-bam-plus cheese, and the cheese and onion enchiladas remind me of lunch in San Antonio in first and second grade at the little nun-run elementary military school I attended. Wish there were one closer to home (Baltimore), but I don’t mind the 3-hour run to Scranton to get a really good (Mexican) meal. Do not confuse this place with others of similar names — this is exceptional. May their number increase as their quality stays high.

Authentic and tasty!. Definitely a nice surprise in a sea of chain food restaurants that dot the Viewmont Mall area. The service is quick, the food authentic and very tasty. Always happy to return, just must control eating the large delicious portions. Go if you like go Mexican.
