Good Lunch Spot Soup and Sandwich. This place has great variety of specialty sandwiches and also the traditional. Don’t miss the hot sausage chili, it’s outstanding. Prices are no more than any other place, and you can get a great deal with their daily lunch specials. Haven’t tried the breakfast yet. Always cherry folks working, clean and made to order sandwiches. If you are getting something toasted, it does take a few extra minutes.
If you work downtown, go here for lunch. Boulevard Deli seems to be a well-kept secret amongst downtown diners. Maybe because its a bit tucked away on Smithfield Street or lacks a flashy sign, but those that go here go often and for good reason. The meats are fresher and better quality than standard sub and sandwich shops in the area plus you get a better variety and they manage to keep the price down. Theyve got all the basics including salads, chili and build your own basic sandwiches. A daily special which includes a side of potato salad or fruit salad etc. will run you about $7.00 and is more than filling for a lunch meal. The staff is very friendly and eager to make sure you enjoy your meal and you never get a feeling of rushing or they want you out the door to get in the next sale. Take out is of course an option. There’s not much in the way of seating or decor, but the large windows make it bright and lively inside which is fine. They are also quite speedy, so you won’t be using half of your lunch hour just waiting in line. One of the few positives I find about working down town is the selection of places to eat lunch and Boulevard Deli is definitely a good, fairly priced addition to that list. Give the place a try if youre nearby.

Delicious and Delightful. Fresh delicious food served in a delightful atmosphere
