Dinner didn’t start off so well with the hostess saying I didn’t have a reservation. This went back and forth for a few minutes with me even showing my email confirmation. Finally my friend came up to see what the problem was because she had literally been seated by the hostess at our table and the hostess was walking back when I came up for seating and hadn’t seen my friend. All of a sudden the hostess remembered the reservation. I don’t know, it was just very odd.I had the bacon wrapped shrimp with cheddar grits and a shrimp Caesar salad. The shrimp in the salad were grilled perfectly and the onions on the salad were delicious, I just needed to ask for more dressing.The grits were not good, they were very grainy so they were underdone.This restaurant was very good about getting food out in a timely manner. It was good enough I would come back again when I have a show.
Phenomenal. Rarely have we been this impressed – everything was perfect from cocktails to starters to entrees. Can’t say enough about the quality of the food, especially the seafood and pasta options. Top picks include the lobster gnocchi combo and special pierogies of the day (in this case, shrimp scampi stuffed with a lobster sauce). Cheese and charcuterie plates very nice. Bourbon speciality cocktails just perfect. Service was stellar, too. We’ll be back whenever we’re in town.
