  Horrible customer service. You never, ever pass the buck to software or the customer to place blame. Even if it is out of your hands you apologize for the inconvenience and tell the customer what you can do for them. They were rude and unwilling to try and assist their customer in anyway. That right there is how you lose a long time customer’s business regardless of how the food was.

  I have never written a review on here or any other site, but our service from Cafe Milano demanded I write my first review. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, mozzarella sticks and a 2 liter of Mt. Dew. The wait was short, which is always nice, but aside from feeling like we were slighted with four teeny tiny cheese sticks to share between me and my girlfriend, but that wasn’t the worst, as the pizza looked slightly over cooked on the edges but was underdone and doughy in spots and it was unusually greasy in only half of the pizza, this was a result of all of the pepperoni being shifted to one half of the pizza while being cooked. We have ordered from Cafe Milano before and love their food, and this was a first for us, so knowing that these things happen because I have worked in restaurants for 10+ years. So, after realizing the original pizza was not worth the price I called and explained the situation. The gentleman that answered the phone said he’d send another pizza. Again it came super fast, which was awesome, especially because we were really hungry. What was even more amazing is that the pizza that got remade was a lot bigger than what we ordered, it looks like we were given an XL, which was more than expected, and greatly appreciated! The pizza looked phenomenal and was exactly what you should expect to get from Cafe Milano! They hit a home run tonight for us, as we know these things happen and they made up for it in a big way!

  I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza for delivery one night, opened the box and the pizza looked shifted and completely thrown together. I gave it a try and took a bite, the dough wasn’t cooked all the way through. I called and told them about the situation, they quickly said they would send another pizza. They sent an X-LARGE, amazing looking pizza.. I always order from there and this shows me why I always will.

  Once a week lunch stop. I love this place for lunch. The food, prices and service are all great. They can get rather busy at times during the lunch hour.

  Perfectly Unobjectionable. Pizzeria. Beer. Plenty of seating, $15 for a large pie and pitcher of beer before Pirates’ games, with the same menu as practically every other pizza joint in Pittsburgh. You could do worse downtown.
