Welcome to Las Velas where reservations mean nothing! We had reservations for 10 several days in advance and they were not prepared on arrival.
Good food! Horrible service. Waited over an hour for our food. 4 people in the group got their food 10 minutes before the other 4. When then the fajitas did come, we waited an additional 5+ minutes for tortillas!!!!!!!!?????!!!!!! Waitress, NEVER came by to check on us, explain the delay, ask if we wanted more drinks….. Won’t be back. If you like pretty good Mexican food and pathetic service , Las Velas is your place.

Delicious. My coworkers and I regularly visit Las Velas for lunch. The food is always consistently delicious, I get a chicken quesadilla at almost every Mexican restaurant I go to, theirs is by far one of the best. We also frequently hold group lunches for 10-15 people and the staff is very accommodating to our large request (as long as we call beforehand)
Really enjoy the fish tacos, hanger steak tacos, and margaritas. My only complaint is they charge a nominal fee for chips and salsa. Otherwise, a typically quiet little place with windows looking out to Market Square.
Bad Mexican. My coworker and I just ate lunch at Las Velas and it was awful. The service was bad, food was not good. I will never go there again.
