The best Sicilian pizza in Pittsburgh, hands down.
Still going ….. I have eaten here for almost 30 years and it is still one of the best values for the $ at lunchtime. I love everything about this place including the sarcasm of the staff. For a fast, inexpensive lunch it can’t be beat. If you order the $3 lunch special and a drink, you are well under $5 for lunch. I don’t think their prices have changed since the 1980s (I hope they don’t read these reviews).

This is the place. When it comes to good food with good prices (esppecially the lunch specials) Mamma’s is the place to go when you are downtown. Thank you for years of great food.
Great Hoagies. We have been here to try their hoagies twice, and both times they were great. Got the Italian and Steak. Both had good portions of meat and toppings that were tasty. The bread was fresh, crusty and chewy. They’re pretty big, but it was tough to hold back from eating the whole thing for lunch. On our second trip we got an order of onion rings to share and they were great! Came out piping hot, large rings of onion in beer batter that was crispy and flavorful. Exactly what I had in mind. Really enjoy this place.
Best hoagie downtown. The steak and turkey hoagies are the best in town. The bread is perfectly baked and they are full of meat. Prices are good and the crew is great.
