We went here for Pittsburgh restaurant week. Service was not acceptable for a higher end restaurant. We were not greeted by our server for over 5 minutes upon sitting. The salad was very plain (Iceberg with blue cheese dressing and egg) and not presented well. The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly, but the sour cream mashed potatoes were nothing special (I’ve made much better potatoes before). My creme brle dessert was too warm and thus runny. Overall, not a great experience and will not be back, especially when you consider what is expected for the higher prices.

The reality was that I could have got a better meal for half the price or made it myself.Never again .
A Very Sad Mortons Dining Experience Do not make the same mistake .. It is very unfortunate when bad things happen to good restaurants . Mortons in Pittsburgh is such an example. When a chain gets big it has to manage the execution of the product especially the Prime product . In this case it is Steak and this location does not know how to consistently cook steak I’m sad to say. The servers hover over you with good intentions but you almost feel like you are being watched.Furthermore they lead you to believe if they did not live up to your expectations that they will reward you with something to make it up to you for next time. However after speaking to the manager the offered a gift card that covers a nice tip and maybe an appetizer for one person. . This is truly an insult . I’ll leave it at that.Mortons corporate management should really look at what is going on here as long term it will not be a good story. Bigger is not always better especially in Mortons case.
