Roast their own coffee. Had an iced caramel latte, and really enjoyed it! No tables in the shop, by its right own market square. We went out under some trees and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Great coffee for your morning fix. Baristas are friendly and the store smells amazing. They also have a wide selection of coffee and tea (bagged and loose) you can buy.

Wonderful!. My coworker and I stumbled across Nicholas Coffee Company just last week after having worked downtown for nearly 2 years– SO wonderful. As soon as you walk in, you see dried fruits in jars, unique chocolates, coffee beans, treats, tea… and the aroma of the whole place actually makes me feel happy. The flavored coffee is hands down the best coffee in Pittsburgh. Right now I’m drinking Graham Cracker flavored coffee, and it leaves an amazing after-taste. If you’re ever in the mood for GOOD coffee and something to make your day just a little better, go to Nicholas’! PS. The baristas are always really friendly, too.

NICHOLAS COFFEE. WOW! whoa. when you walk in this place the smell of delicious roasting coffee beans infiltrates your palate like chuck norris in a spy thriller str8 out of the eighties! Its one of the best coffee/confectionery/tea shops I’ve ever been in, with hand made teapots of clay or iron from the far east, hundreds of teas, delightful european chocolates AAAAHHH…all in an old-fashioned atmosphere reminiscent of a hundred years ago. Recommended.
