This is one place I would immediately recommend to any chocoholic! first, the customer service is beyond pleasant. they have upbeat and polite workers who are always happy to help you find just what you’re looking for. now for the chocolate… AMAZING!! there is really something for everyone here. i’ve had my fair share of fine chocolates but i must say sinful sweets is at the top of my list! from chocolate covered bacon, to their huge assortment of truffles/creams.. ugh I’m drooling right now! they also have hand spun milkshakes with some wicked flavors to choose from. if you’re stuck, ask any of the workers for a fun, new flavor. enough about my love for sinful sweets, go try it for yourself and i guarantee you will not be disappointed!
Excellent suprizes galore!. I work near this place and am here almost every day when working. Sometimes twice a day. They have a great selection of ice cream and will mix and blend flavors to some amazing flavor combos! I recommend the popcorn flavored ice cream that is mindbogglingly delicious when mixed with the chocolate coffee flavored icecream… My mouth is watering now… Also brilliant combos with the cake pops and chocolates. I love the Tiramisu cakepop. Decadent and melts away in the mouth like proper tiramisu dessert! When it is colder, I do the hot chocolate with flavors added and at varying proportions of milk and dark chocolate depending on what I’m looking for that day. I could go on, but you will have to try it for yourself! Not only are the treats great, but customer serice is excellent every time!
Great Chocolate/Terrible Service. I would not recommend ordering online and having the product shipped. Nine days after ordering I called and they had forgotten to ship. No apology. When parcel finally arrived only half the order was there and contents were spilled into the shipping carton. It was pretty much of a mess and I was glad I did not have it shipped directly to the person it was intended for. Rather disappointing.
Definitely Decadent!!!. If you’re looking for a tasty treat, check this store out! There’s a wide variety of chocolates, caramels, unique cakepop creations and ice cream. The key lime pie cakepops and red velvet cakepops were super, and the toffee is amazing! If you have a sweet tooth and a little time while you are downtown, it is worth the visit.
Horrible!!!. Poor Do NOT waste your time! I was really excited to try this place after viewing the website. I was extremely disappointed!!! Upon arrival, I found that they didn’t have 99% of the items shown on the website. It was early Saturday afternoon and there was one teenage girl working the entire store. She was nice but beyond overwhelmed by the amount of business. She had to call the business owner multiple times to ask questions including how to make one of the milkshakes. Everything was terrible, chocolate (rather lack of – forget getting anything in dark chocolate), ice cream (not homemade), milkshake, location and everything else you could possibly imagine. Stick to the Strip District and forgo the trip into downtown. I wish I lived closer so I could go back and demand a refund; so upset I might drive the hour and a half anyway but I was not given a receipt. The only thing sinful is the deceitful website.
I <3 Sinful Sweets Chocolate!. I'm new to the city and have been searching for a chocolate shop that sells chocolate like I am used to getting back home. My search is over! From the pleasant staff to the incredible chocolate this is one place I will be returning to over and over again. Not only do they offer up the traditional chocolates you can also find ice cream sodas, gourmet pretzels, gourmet apples, and a traditional toffee- My new favorite! It's a must try!
Not impressed. I’m surprised by the positive reviews on this shop. I can’t speak to the lolli cakes or ice cream concoctions, but I had the opportunity to try an assortment of the chocolate treats. Based on the reviews I expected to enjoy them, but I was very disappointed. First, the chocolate wasn’t glossy, and some of the pieces had the grayish film that indicates age, improper tempering, or extreme temperature variations. Also, the chocolate did not taste smooth and velvety like good chocolate should. Instead, some pieces were almost flavorless, and others left an unpleasant aftertaste. The idea of sea salt caramels is a good one, and I’ve sampled successful samples in other shops. But here the proportions of chocolate, caramel, and salt are off, and the salt is too overpowering. Chocolate can be tricky, but in a city with numerous choices, there are many other better options.
