Personally I think way Over rated. Service very slow and food is pricey. It was good, not great though. Atmosphere was nice with a large beer selection, but definitely not worth the price and portion sizes.
Not to impressed. Service was not good and food was worse. I live downtown and go out to eat almost everyday but I just was not impressed sorry.
I just LOVE this place!!!!!!! The service , food,everything ,,,AWESOMENESS!!!I tried the Parmesan encrusted chicken AMAZING,also they have a duck confit over a savory sage waffle , WOW.I certainly shall be returning , the management checking on tables also a plus, I felt very important at this place!!
Ten Penny was a wonderful experience after going to the theater. Their dinner menu is stacked with amazing variety and tasty options! It is a must go. Highly recommend.
Sat here for 20 minutes after we were seated waiting to be served, but to no avail. We left and went somewhere else where they actually care about service and their customers (Bill’s across the street). Do yourself a favor and try somewhere else.
Terrible food, absoultely horrible, if your looking for a really white meal that’s not cooked at all and old and stale then come here but if you want a meal you can digest than go to Six Penn down the street and have the best meal you will ever have in your life but if you want to pay for a meal you can’t eat one little bit of then come here. Disgusting food. Think twice about life if you like the food here.
A Bar Trying to be an Upscale Restaurant (and failing horribly). Prices for their meals was out of line with the decore. As with others, the host was completely dismissive, looking almost offended that we wanted to sit at a table rather than at the bar (I’m not paying $30-40 a plate to sit at a bar). Our waiter was pleasant enough but had no training whatsoever and his level of expertise was inadequate for a higher-priced restaurant. While our food was cooked well, at least one other patron was displeased enough to return his plate. Staff appeared to be sleeping in the back. They certainly weren’t taking care of the customers up front. At least two parties gave up waiting for the host/hostess and sat themselves.I’d avoid this restaurant. There are many better lower-priced bars, or appropriately serviced restaurants to go to. This one is very poorly managed.
