Very Elegant and Hip. Great food, great atmosphere. Use the valet, the parking down there is atrocious.

    Porcini Rubbed Delmonico. Delicious

We had a group of 6. Service was ok. My steak was cooked correctly, but two others’ were overdone and they were not the type to send it back or say anything. Average taste. Lobster was a little tough. Disappointing for the $51 spent on just the entree. Children at two separate tables were shrieking in the background…not what I’d expect for a high-end steakhouse.

Anniversary dinner. Delightful dinner. steaks were done just right, wait staff was great and attentive

Awesome experience!. Atmosphere, service, and food were all fantastic! We were celebrating our anniversary. Had: french onion soup, the filet oscar, lobster bisque, the daily special scallops, the lobster mac-n-cheese, and coconut cream pie for dessert. ALL delicious!!!!!! I would highly recommend The Capital Grill for any special occasion!

Just ok, but had much better meals for the price. Chowder and lobster bisque were both so-so, nothing special for sure. Steaks were good but not great. Sides were awful. Creamed corn tasted bland, like they used frozen corn on the cob (in August, peak corn season!). Potatoes au gratin were way over-seasoned with onions and strong cheese, and some type of unidentifiable crunchy topping that was just plain gross.

A friend and I went for the first last night for restaurant week and it was amazing! The steak was beyond what I could have imagined. The sides were excellent and the wine pour just added to a magically perfect meal! I can’t wait to go back. Until then, I’ll be having sweet dreams of the capital grille.
