Great wine list. Menu with excellent variety. Calamari appetizer was excellent. Salad appetizers were generous portions and were enjoyable. Entrees for group – oso bucco, veal Marsala and pasta bolognese were all really good. I would definitely come back

Stunning Food and Atmosphere!. I took my mom here for her Birthday, it was our first time there. The restaurant is absolutely stunning and the wait staff is impeccable. There weren’t many people there, since it was a weeknight, but they treated us great and we loved the food. I had the Seafood Risotto and my Mom had the Veal Marsala. Both dishes were perfect, not to mention the salads and bread. I would highly recommend anyone on a romantic date or celebration to try this place. Wonderful Italian food!

Vallozzi’s. So glad to have stopped into this Italian joint on the edge of market square. We sat at the fresh mozzarella & charcuterie bar area and sampled many small plates. Nothing was made in house, but our cheese expert explained that the cheese was shipped in from Italy and picked up directly from the PITT airport. The ravioli we ordered was succulent and savory. Truffles have a tendency to that to you. We also shared a spinach pizza which was almost like a spanakopita pizza. This is because their pizza dough is in fact phyllo dough. Very interesting. I am wondering how it will taste with other topping combinations because all I was thinking about was the Greek delicacy:) and OMG smoked mozzarella was wild!!Happy to go back as the service and ambiance was great.

Great food. Great atmosphere. My husband and I were in Pittsburgh for the weekend. We were looking for really good Italian food. Vallozzis was the place. The stuffed rigatoni and veal parm were excellent. I had a pistachio cannoli for dessert. Wow. Great meal, friendly staff, and not overpriced. We will definitely visit again.

Awesome staff from the hostess to our waitress Candice. The suckling pig pappardelle is a must have!!!!!! I was a little hesitant on it but took the chance after Candice described it and oh my – it was killer!!!! A relaxing fun place. Very unique tasty food. Not an ounce of uptight anywhere!

I scoop up pizza’s here from time to time on my way home and it’s unbelievably good. Thin crust is out of this world. Staff is very friendly too.

Great place. Great Atomosphere! Reminds me of a place on Mullberry Street in Manhattan.Service…goes a long way with us….and this gets a top rating in that department…everyone is very attentive! Definitely going back when my folks are back in town and staying at the Fairmont across the street!
