Capri Pizzeria and Bar. I recently visited Capri Pizzeria in the up and coming neighborhood of East Liberty. This pizzeria is very nice inside, employees great! I ordered a 4 cut pizza with pepporoni and a pepsi. Loved it, priced right, sauce was excellent. I didnt go to the bar but they had quite a few on tap and many bottles also belgium, craft etc. I will definitely return soon!
Great Selection!!. I love the fact that when I go to Capri, no matter who I am with, everyone finds something they want to eat-sometimes more than 1 thing. They are always very friendly to my kids and whichever of their friends I happen to have that trip. they also have a very large selection of adult beverages to enjoy when there are a lot of children. On Friday and Saturday I can go to Capri’s new bar just on the corner of highland and penn. They have awesome r&b and reggae on fri and r&b on saturday. Nice big dancefloor with lasers and boomin bass. The selection of alcohol rivals any I’ve been to in the Pittsburgh area. Would definitely recommend Capri pizza & the bar to anyone in the highland park, east liberty or anyone who works at any of the UPMC hospitals. Have met a few of my friends there after they left work at presby.
CAPRI PIZZA. I found this place in grad school way back when east liberty was not so safe. I think they have been there for 20 plus yrs. The owners are always there, the food is good, and priced well, they have a good beer selection. I have continued to support these guys over the years and now that east liberty is a safer place I bike over. (they will let you bring your bike inside)They opened another place on the corner of penn and highland with a full bar …a great beer selection BELGIUMS!! It is awesome in there, downside just opened 3 days aweek but the owner told us it will be opened full time before year end!! cant wait
