Very good restaurant.Always very well cooked.Everything is good .The Avocado is amazing.the Monkfish osso-bucco excellentand the grilled hanger steak excellent too.The only drawback is the price of the wine.( but the wine is excellent )great service tooOverall it was very good.
Nice atmosphere. Great place for an anniversary dinner.Outstanding service.Sommelier was so helpful in selection.Food was so good.The grilled avocado was great. Bleu cheese souffle was soooo goooood!Tasty pork and shrimp dinner was so nice. The food and combination of flavors, service and creativity of the Chef really make this one of the better places to eat in Pittsburgh.
I made a reservation at Spoon for my family on Easter night over two months in advance. They phoned me the DAY BEFORE to tell me they could not honor my reservation because they were closing early on Easter night. While I respect closing early, they have left me high and dry by canceling on me at the last minute. Terribly unprofessional–I will not ever try to book here again.

Best dining experience of my life!. My wife and I visited for our 17th anniversary last night – and were treated to the best dining experience of our lives! We indulged with the 5 course chef’s tasting with wine pairing ($200 total) – an experience that we recommend to anyone that LOVES to experience NEW fantastic, fun, flavorful food. The service was fantastic – heck even the valet was great!I recommend Spoon without any doubts! Make a reservation – you can’t just walk in and expect to find a seat.
