The owner at Vento’s stirring house made pizza sauce.. It’s nice to see that there are some pizza places left making 20 gallons of sauce for a shift. Building flavor through the passion that is displayed in his pizza.
This place sucks. The food is not worth the wait. We called ahead and they said 15 min, 40 min later we got our food. The owner is too busy chatting with the customers to get anything done. Avoid this place, unless you want a lotto ticket at their lotto desk. Ghetto
Don’t bother. The food, while certainly not bad is however, unremarkable. The owner walks around as a master BS’ser. He’s friendly..until you displease him. His ego is the size of Montana and he has no problem escalating tension when his ego is challenged. I was overcharged and due to him being in a row with another customer and an extremely rude cashier with significant attitude, I merely walked out. It just isn’t worth it from the tension and angst present there. Pander to him and you’ll have a good experience. Act as a paying customer and roll the dice.
Not what it was.. This place once had the best cheese steak hogie, no more . What I got was a tasteless sloppy joe type sandwich. on a cold bun. This place has gone down hill and the old man should just close it. I know the Vento family and hate to write this but I have to be honest.I’ll not stop again.

Love it every time. Great pizza, fun service, lots of locals being served every day!the pizza has such a homemade taste, with thick crust. It’s very good- not greasy.
They have the best pizza sauce in the city.
