First off valet parking is only $3, hard to find that anymore!Had a Cosmo to drink, it was very good, and not too strong. We had an order of hot shots and the butcher’s plate as starters. The hot shots were too spicy for me, but I’m not a huge spicy pepper fan. We loved the butcher’s plate, there was such variety though that I wish everything was labeled. I forgot what everything was as soon as our waiter walked away.For dinner we shared the porterhouse steak, carrots au gratin, fried green tomatoes, with chimichurri sauce and meat hook steak sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly. The fried green tomatoes were delicious and the spicy mayo was very spicy. The carrots au gratin were not my cup of tea, I was hoping they would be as potato au gratin, but they still tasted like carrots to me. The steak sauce was said to be like A1 but it is so much better. I was drenching my steak with it. The chimichurri sauce was not good. I’ve made chimichurri sauce and this just tasted very off and had almost a florescent green color.The best part was as we were leaving some puppies came in and we got to play with them. One of the perks of a restaurant in a pet-friendly hotel.
