Mongkon cafe replaced the previous Thai restaurant. The phone number hasn’t changed, so be clear of any confusion. FYI, Mongkon is still a Thai restaurant, but it does have different menu selection from the previous restaurant. I’ve tried this restaurant only once so far.As soon as you step in, you’ll get overwhelmed with how decorative the inside of the restaurant is. Seriously, it’s really colorful in there. Not an eyesore or anything! For my first visit, I have tried the drunken noodles with shrimp, green thai curry dish with shrimp, and egg rolls. The food is authentic (the cook/owner is a cute, old Thai-native woman). I didn’t feel bloated or gross after eating all that. The food was not at all greasy, but still packed flavors. Be sure to let your server know how spicy you want your food. The green curry burnt my mouth, which was what I wanted. The parking lot if pretty spacious as this is located in the suburbs, ten minutes away from the King of Prussia mall area. To reiterate, Mongkon Cafe is the new thai restaurant replacing the previous thai restaurant called Mayuree.
