A Mediocre Way to Spend $150. My wife and I ate at Nectar for the first time yesterday evening – and walked away wanting something more. The atmosphere is fine, feeling more like downtown Philly than Berwyn, and the food pretty good, but I was absolutely stumped by the minuscule portioning and lack of depth in the entrees. Granted, we did not try everything on the menu, but did go for some of our favorites – tuna tartare, beef short ribs, striped bass and the nectar lo mien (which was the best part of the meal). Everything was just fine – wouldn’t rave about it, wouldn’t overhype it – it was just fine. Total bill, including drinks rang in just under $150.00. Won’t rush back. If you’re ok with letting go of the ‘trendy / expensive’ atmosphere, hit one of M. Kuo’s restaurants. You won’t be disappointed there.

They didn’t show up, why should you?. Reservations mean nothing if you wait for 50 minutes (with nowhere to go – 4 deep at the bar) for your table, with no apologies. Served mediocre appetizers after another very long wait, bland entrees (Amish chicken and crispy duck – total absence of spice in the mass-produced sauces). Yeah, the tiny donuts are great, but they don’t come close to making up for the rest of it. If I wanted bland, phoned-in food, I’d have gone to Olive Garden. Go to Margaret Kuo (Wayne) or Sang Kee (Wynnewood) instead!
Great ambience and fusion food. Mostly business crowd. If looking for quiet/intimate setting, not the place to be. I have always enjoyed my food and drinks here and usually have gone with big groups.
Too loud, crappy menu, and a bunch of bald old business men.
One word. Awesome. Only negative its too far from ardmore.
TOO noisy!
