  GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Not even worth a star and not for the food, the pizza is good. the owner yells at his employees and customers. I went by, noticed the door open at 11:25 on a Sunday. I went in, asked if they were open, was asked by an employee what I wanted and I ordered an upside down pizza and paid for it. All of a sudden the owner storms through the kitchen and yells that the pizza will ot be ready until 12:15. I was seated and reading a book. Clearly he wanted me to leave. I said I would be back at 12:15 and asked why they opened up the door, Then he really began to yell, M’am can’t you read the sign?????? we open at noon and we have to open the doors to make it cool?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ovens are not even on!!!!!!!!!! Wow, I was so taken aback that I said I would be back at 12:15. THIS IS THE LAST TIME EVER AT PHILS. BERWYN PIZZA AND BRAVISSIMO ACROSS THE ROAD ARE EVEN BETTER AND APPRECIATE MY BUSINESS. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS MERCHANT.

  Lousy Steak Sandwich. I would never go this far to write a bad review this is my first. I just think Phil’s has a lot of balls calling themselves famous with the lousy steak sandwich that I had there. The meat was the wrong meat (must be cheaper) tasteless, chopped up so fine it was like dry flavorless flakes. They melted the cheese after it was done in the oven on the roll. How lazy can you be? melt the cheese on the steak ..maybe this is just me but don’t ever toast the roll unless it is stale. The roll was the only thing they got right and the ruined it. Horrible! my 5 yr old took one bite and said this meat is yucky. I wanted to not eat it but I was starving I ate a quarter. WhenI went to buy a roll for my daughter to eat cause she refused to eat it.. I was miserable.. I said canI buy a roll cause my daughter really disliked her steak. No oh I am sorry, nothing then they charged me $1.60 after spending $33.00 on a steak, a very small pizza and a salad for the smallest dinner roll I have ever seen. Bad business, if I had owned/worked there I would have given the roll for free after a complaint. Salad was mediocre but the price was ok. Pizza looked good but small and way over priced and the steaks were way over priced too. NEVER will I go thee again and will tell every one not too as well. STUNK -Beth

  The delivery guy Is a total jerk and always expects a generous tip, the pizza is just average but the cheesesteak is the reason I continue to go once and awhile
