Fantastic atmosphere. Tacos were delicious, creative menu. Nice selection of cocktails. Great place for a date or just cocktails after work. Parking is the only downside, but definitely worth it.
Ate here for the first time tonight and had a great time. A true local gem. Erie is lucky to have such an establishment. Looking forward to dining here again.
Amazing place to eat at. I have eaten there many times over the time it’s been there. I recently went there with my wife and had the best experience possible. The sweet potato hash was absolutely amazing. I had the bull tail and my wife had the salmon there. I don’t even like salmon and I still had a few bites. The waiter (I wish I remember his name) was the best I’ve ever had. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, asked questions and made recommendations. To the management: You have an amazing place there!
Best Restaurant in Erie. Most amazing food, atmosphere, drinks, people, facility & experience in Erie, PA. Hands down. Can’t say enough good things about 1201. Chef Dan Kern is maybe the nicest guy ever. Menu changes every season. New & creative ideas flow from the kitchen nightly. A++
Best food in Erie!
1201 dining experience. My wife and I went to 1201 for my birthday. We like to sit downstairs at the bar so we can watch the chefs prepare and plate the different menu selections. We started with a tasting of all three soups offered, the seasonal pumpkin bisque was my favorite. Creamy and delicately seasoned it was a great way to begin our dining experience. Our waiter was friendly and professional. Our entree selections consisted of the kobe beef and pan seared scallops. The beef and scallops were cooked to perfection, sizing and plating appropriate. Both meals were exceptional in both presentation and flavor. This no small town wannabe folks! Fine dining and excellent service at its best.
Best in Erie. Great place for a nice dinner or to get a cocktail or two. I recommend it
