Could not understand menu…. Wanted beef & lamb Gyro and what I got did not resemble it in the remotest sense…Classic Middle-Eastern decor…lace tablecloths? Needs an Americanized menu. Left with a bellyache…needed a Tums.

Special place. I had my birthday party in the upstairs dining area where patrons can sit on floor pillows for a more authentic experience. The staff is so fun and friendly, and the food is delicious. Be sure to try the mango Lassi!

A diamond in the rough…. I will be the first to admit that I am fairly boring when it comes to eating out. I stick to the types of foods that I know, and I generally avoid places that would be categorized as ‘ethnic’ or ‘world cuisine’. I am glad that I strayed from the norm though, because the Casablanca Grill is an awesome little place on the west side of Erie. One of my co-workers and I decided to try this place one day, and ever since it has been on our list of places to go whenever we get the opportunity. The food is of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern in origin, and overall it is very well prepared. The environment is comfortable and welcoming, and if you go for lunch, you are served by one of the owners (we think anyway). I have had a few different things so far, but my favorite thus far is the Gyro. The meal is pretty much as described on the menu, and the side of tahini yogurt is delicious. The other thing that I find interesting about the place is the Water that they serve. It’s filtered tap water, but they add cucumbers to the pitcher to flavor the water and add nutrients. It’s very refreshing. If you are in the mood for something a little different than the usual chains, try Casablanca Grill. You won’t regret it.

Great food but pricy for what you get. Very friendly staff.

Came over to an empty restaurant at 12:45, stood inside for five minutes and no one came to the front. Left without service, scared me that no one was eating there.

Simply the Best. My wife and I on a spur of the moment shopping trip to Erie PA from North Ridgeville Ohio(near Cleveland) happened upon this charming highly rated restaurant. When we pulled up we were a bit dubious as it was small looking and and rather plain. Inside the aroma was Magnificent! We were transported to a land of the senses. We love middle Eastern and Mediterranean food ;Casablanca was ,is the BEST.All Caps! The service and attitude was very welcoming as if we were guests at someones home. The food was incredible. It was subtle ,complex, delicate and savory. We will go back to Erie just to eat there!

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Erie. I’m a huge fan of Mediterranean food and this is the place for you if you do too! While many of the entrees are unfamiliar, the owner is always willing to explain and make sure you’re happy with what you order. I always get the Mediterranean platter and am yet to get sick of it! You can also smoke hookahs upstairs which adds to the authenticity and plain old awesomeness of this one of a kind restaurant.
