Food is great, service is excellent. I have eaten their pizza and burgers before, both of which are above average, but their wings are some of the best I’ve had in Erie. They’re crispy with a good range of sauces, any of which they will mix. If you ask for suggestions they are happy to tell you some of the most popular, often best tasting, sauces they can offer. It seems like they are able to read my mind, as I often end up getting what they suggest and it’s always one of my new favorites (hot honey mustard, and honey cajun are very good). The bartender Ross is my favorite bartender in Erie. He mixes well and isn’t opposed to a long pour (get your moneys work!). There is also many drinks that he has invented, none of which I have been disappointed by. He is prompt, has good suggestions (I’m indecisive), friendly, attentive, clean, creative, and insightful. All of those are good qualities for a bartender, he probably has many more I didn’t think to mention. Every time my drink is gone he has a 6th sense that tells him to come to me, I swear its crazy I never have to wait regardless of how busy it is. Any tip I give him, no matter how big it is, I feel guilty because he deserves more. That’s how important a top notch bartender is to me. Every bar has liquor but only Coach’s has Ross mixin’ up perfection. Definitely would recommend it to anybody looking for a small bar to catch all of their sporting action. Pool, darts, electronic shuffleboard, Golden Tee, that touch screen game thing where you have to pick what’s different between the two pictures, lots of TVs with every game to every sport, good people, good food, music is jukebox so its whatever people decide it is. Thanks Coach’s!!!
I love this bar! Definitely a sports bar. Very comfortable atmosphere. The food is better than average! My favorite might be the buffalo ranch wings. The menu is creative, changes often and has a pleasant selection of foods. YUM.
