Delicious!. My husband and I just enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Habibi (and lunch tomorrow- the portions are incredible). This unique restaurant offers a flavor new to Erie. It reminds me of the type of cuisine you would fine in a large city. The prices were extremely reasonable and there were many menu options for all tastes. The waitress was delightful and we took a bottle of our favorite wine to enjoy with our meal. We plan to go back again with our son, now that we know there is also a kids’ menu that he’d enjoy!
Excellent service. I had a waitress by the name of Leena, she had great customer service and provided my table with everything that we expected with a great experience at this restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the mood for the best Mediterranean food on this side of the Mississippi. I will continue to go there and if possible I suggest Leena as your waitress. All in All this was a great time and the food was delicious!!
Food was meh. Service was bad.. Made reservations and they were rude from the beginning. Should have expected the bad service. Waitress didn’t even know the soup of the day. Food was meh. They didn’t bring all of the appetizer, we had to ask for the rest. Didn’t bother to bring plates for said appetizer, and took forever to come back to order dinner. When we finally got dinner, they only served one of us and we waited 5 mins for my dinner to arrive before we ate. Plus it’s byob and they actually charge you $3 to open a bottle of wine. #getouttahere
Everything solid except bread. I though everything was very very good except the pita bread which was really dry and hard to eat. the soup, red rice, kibbe and kabobs were all pretty solid. standard middle eastern-American fare. good prices 7/10
Consistently awesome food puts Habibi in Top 2. I’ve just eaten my fourth meal at Habibi, and each time the food has been wonderful! Very generous portions (my husband and I love to split the Sweetheart platter — plenty for both of us!) and pleasant service. Had the swordfish special one night and it was fab. The atmosphere is very fresh and hip — I love the purple and yellow bird decor. Overall, Habibi is becoming one of my favorite places in Erie to eat or order to-go. Habibi has replaced 3B Saloon for my top 2 Erie eateries – (Cloud 9 is at the top) This is a great place to eat, whether you are new to Middle Eastern cuisine or are visiting from Lebanon. I’m surprised at the bad reviews and can verify that I’ve had great experiences every time, and would chalk those bad experiences to the restaurant being new and having growing pains.
Great food!. My husband and I had dinner here with another couple last night… first time for us. We LOVED it and are planning to return soon!. We all enjoyed our meals- very flavorful and large portions. Met the owner, Sam– wow, what a gracious host! The prices are very reasonable (especially compared with other Mediterranean restaurants in town), and we love the fact its BYOB. The food is very authentic. We highly recommend the vegetarian platter and the sweetheart platter.
What a great place! When we walked in and I smelled the aromas I knew that we were in for a good meal! The food was so full of flavor and tasted very fresh! Our server seemed new to the job so I can’t hold that against her. It took a little longer than usual for the food to come out but it was definitely worth the wait! If you’re looking for great food and atmosphere try Habibi.
