Wow!!!. We were in Erie for a mini vacation. Looked for a casual pub and grill for dinner. What a find. Great service, atmosphere, and the food was delicious…..almost forgot good list of draft beers. If your ever in Erie make sure you stop here.
Great place for downtown. Lots of unique beers and some really good sandwiches on the menu. Awesome to have more non-chain places in town!
Love!. I always have a fantastic meal at the Tap House. The sandwiches are terrific! The servers are friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy.
I love to tap selection. the food works well for the size of the kitchen. Each time I’ve been there the staff has been attentive and helpful. I seem to get lucky when I go up there to park but I do hear that is a bit of a complaint. finally beer starting to hit Erie who would’ve thunk it?
Good food, beer and atmosphere!. I’ve been here many times and have enjoyed it no matter what time of time of day or whether I wanted food or just drinks. I’ve even been during the times when there are literally people practically on my back because there is not much room to move. It does get really busy sometimes and I say good for the tap house! Obviously they are doing something right! The service has always been great for me even with the occasional wait. The servers check back often and have been very friendly regardless of the number or type of people in the restaurant. I enjoy beer but admit I don’t know a lot about it so a recommendation always helps. The guys serving there really know their stuff and have recommended beers that match me perfectly. The food is always good and even though it’s a fairly standard menu with pizza, sandwiches, salads and appetizers it’s levels above the common bar grub. The prices on food are very reasonable. The beers are delicious. Depending on the brew it may be higher priced than average beers but you definitely get what you pay for. I am not afraid to ask the price before I make my selection. I know I am getting good beer that I will enjoy vs. having a beer that is okay but I only drink because of the price. Everything at the tap house feels like it is centered around enjoyment of beer, food and relaxing. I have and will go back again and again. Glad to have a place like this in Erie.
Sucks.. flat out sucks as far as service is concerned. Food was COLD. Sent back the soup and i said just microwave it so when i finally got it it was hot but 15 minutes later. We were finally asked if we would like more to drink at the end if the meal. Oh sorry and had to ASK for napkins and that was another 10 minutes.. they weren’t short staffed there was at least 3 waitresses
