Huge menu, everthing’s been good so far.. It doesn’t look good from the street, but actually extends far to the back and includes a beautiful dinning and bar area that opens up onto a patio. Lots of TVs and people talking loudly, so maybe not the best place for dinner conversation, but the menu and beer list are really impressive. I’ve ordered the steamed clams, pastas, salads, and my favorite the grilled eggplant sandwich with goat cheese. The quality of the food here goes way past my expectations for a sports bar. My one complaint is that the food is consistently quite salty, I need extra water.

Watch the game and have a good meal. I would never have tried this place unless a food-minded friend of mine hadn’t said he liked it. From the road, this place looks like a dumpy sports bar. But the interior was actually quite nice, a small patio, big TVs all over – the opposite of what I thought it’d be. Beer list is good, food was quite good (although about $3/meal more than I would have expected). I don’t remember the service being terrible (or fantastic). One small complaint – the gallon plastic bucket that was used to hold our dozen clams was just a little excessive.

The food was actually pretty decent. I normally don’t bother with bad reviews, but I have to say… The service here is not good. The hostess looked annoyed that we came in and our server vanished for 20 minutes after asking for the check. It wasn’t busy at all when we were there. Not sure what was up with this place. Good wings though.

Terrible service-I went there with a few friends from work and had to wait over 20 minutes after being seated to even have a waitress acknowledge our presence. Once someone finally took our drink order, we had to wait over 10 minutes to even get water (even longer for our two beers.) The food is outrageously overpriced and subpar at best. I will never return to this restaurant again. In the future, Otto’s will be my go-to sports bar of choice.

My daughter began attending Penn State recently and we found my new favorite place – Champs! The advertised beer selection got us there. The excellent food and service got us to come back the next day. The downstairs cigar lounge and dart room will get me to come back. Everything we ordered was beyond our expectations. Great NY strip, excellent wings, homemade ravioli, some of the best pizza ever, and my daughter claimed her chicken parm was among the best she ever had. To top it all off, Dale’s Pale Ale on tap!
