My first experience here was very positive. The restaurant is very clean and smelled like sesame oil. There were many Korean customers there which is a good sign. We were seated immediately, and service was prompt from then out.I ordered the bibimbap and my guest got the bulgogi. They made the bulgogi extra spicy for her. My bibimbap was great. Served in a hot stone bowl. The rice was sticky and chewy, and the red sauce was wonderful. Plenty of meat and vegetables. The egg was fried, maybe next time I’ll request it raw or less done. The garnishes were also great. I particularly liked the one that I assume was like peppered tofu. The cucumbers and classic cabbage kimchi were also great. I’m going to try to come back next time I’m in town.

Kimchi Review. I had Dolsot Bibimbap. Unfortunately, the vegetables and meat were scarce. The rice was not crispy on the bowl surface

Yum!. I’ve visited Kim Chi twice and ordered something different both times. I’d never had Korean food before eating at this restaurant. If you can get past the strange odor that the restaurant has then you’ll be in for a treat. The food is fresh and is very good. Can’t wait to come again to try something new.

I have no idea if the food had good flavor here. I like hot food, but even on the mild end of their spicy menu, the food was too hot to be able to distinguish the flavors.

Yummy Korean. Sometimes the food will depend on who is in the kitchen, but definitely my favorite Korean restaurant in State College. My favorite dish is the Jam Bong. It is a spicy noodle (or rice if you prefer) seafood soup. My mouth waters just thinking about it. The portions are large and great for sharing. Another favorite Korean dish is the Soon Du Boo (not sure if I spelled it right) and the KimChi Jigae, however, Jam Bong is my favorite!
