  Seafood Market Side. The nasty restaurant reflects badly on the market side and it shouldn’t! The seafood market to buy your own and take home and cook is fantastic! Decent pricing, fresh, friendly and fast service. Highly recommended.14 Feb, 2014Absolute Disgrace. This place is a disgrace to seafood! Where do I even start!? I’ve eaten here for years, since I was a kid with my family. Was always great until a few years back, probably like 10yrs or more ago is when it started going to crap. We went for auce crabs… . First batch were really light and not too good in the taste department, but then the second batch they brought out were all females that were so musty and nasty they were not edible! Million places with better crabs! Another time we got a normal dinner. Started with an appetizer of crab dip. Talk about a joke! At first was like wow look at those huge chunks of backfin until bit into it and tasted it! It was canned tuna! How do I know? I’m a gourmet cook by hobby with some actual training and I have an impeccable pallet and can taste a dish and pretty much give a run down of everything in it! This was without a doubt cheap canned tuna fish! Talk about a waste of over $10! Main course I ordered a seafood platter and they had a special of adding a lobster for $8.99 or something like that, I though, heck, why not. Well the seafood was so soggy and nasty it was inedible! Oil puddles in the lettuce garnish it was served on. The add on lobster was ridiculous… For starters it was a lobster and tail cut in half and you only got half with the other half serves to someone else! Wtf!? Ridiculous! The lobster itself was so over cooked it has no flavor and the texture of rubber! Wife got a steak and it was way over cooked and tough. Even desert failed miserably!

  Not worth it. Went there this evening for dinner with my family. The dining room was nearly empty. It took the server roughly 10 minutes to come for our drink order, and she was walking away from our table when we tried to order an appetizer. As always, the service was lacking, the pace was very slow, and food was fair at best. The Maryland crab soup must have been a vegan version, because I didn’t see any crab in it. The crab dip was no better, containing a sad amount of crab. Somehow even the old bay fries were rather bland (a quartered potato, baked and very lightly dusted with some kind of bay seasoning). The server added 18% gratuity to our check which was far more than she was worth even though I generally tip 25-30%. I am glad that she did this, however, because it made the rest of my family hate this dump as much as I have for years.
