Interesting sandwiches. The bread is outstanding. It is all about the bread. Should be because this place is part of Bricco. Artisan bread and sandwiches. Seating is limited so be prepared for take out.

Loved their cake. Due to external circumstances, we were still looking for a wedding cake one week before our wedding. All the other local bakeries that we looked at had ridiculously overpriced wedding packets that had to be ordered weeks in advance. We didn’t want to have to schedule tastings or any meetings with coordinators. We didn’t have time for that and we wanted to keep the wedding simple and on a tight budget. We phoned Ciao after we found it on Google and spoke to the pastry chef – Casey and ordered a chocolate cake with berries filling and chocolate ganache icing. We were nervous as we were picking up the cake only one day before the wedding, without ever having been to this bakery (not to mention without ever having tasted any of their cakes).Luckily the cake was PERFECT. Casey made it look beautiful by adding fresh berries and white chocolate sticks on top. The chocolate was rich and the berries were refreshing. All our guests loved the cake and we got a lot of compliments. The cake was delicious, the staff was professional and the price was excellent (under 30$ for a small wedding cake). While we were there we also bought sticky buns. They were so delicious that they were eaten by the time we got to the car.

If you are looking for something sweet and homemade in the city look no further than Ciao! Bakery. Once you try one thing you will want to try the rest. It is very hard to walk out of the bakery with an empty stomach.
