Overpriced. The oyster happy hour is the only reason I enjoyed Rubicon. However, when you are paying $8-$9 for beers that you can get anywhere else for $5-$6 it ruins the special. The beers are outrageously overpriced! I have three words for this place…happy hour specials. I can go to the Brewhouse and get better beers for half price between 5-7 pm every day! There’s a reason Rubicon is half empty on a Friday night.
Saturday night dinner for four. Atmosphere very nice. Menu eclectic. All of the food was very good. Very interesting choices. Foie gras was excellent. Only real disappointment was the Faux Pho, their take on Vietnamese pho. It just wasn’t different enough to justify the space on the menu or the cost. Service was good, but our server was a bit condescending with his assumption that nobody knew what anything on the menu was. All in all a very good night. Would definitely return to try more items on the menu.

Amazing drinks and atmosphere. Glad to see another great place open in the city. Music is annoying – they need to change that.
