Stinky bones. No good. The brisket was dry and fatty, and meager. The turkey was one step above lunch meat. It should have been thick sliced so it looked fresh baked at least. the garden salad was the best part. Second try for this chain. We will go to Pittsburgh Barbecue Company instead.

Good Food/Great Staff. We’re regulars here originally because of the ten dollar coupon appearing routinely in our newspaper. Most of the time everything is perfect as far as; courteous staff, prompt service, good food. Sometimes (a lot actually) it’s over the top good, like the pulled pork that I finally tried last week. It’s my opinion that their Smokehouse burger is the best burger around. I haven’t tried Chili’s yet but heard it’s good too. The Bones will serve theirs on the rarer side too which some places will not. That’s a big plus for me. They do a good job on every chicken entre they have and they have several. Great brisket as well! The ribs are good but anyone can make good ribs including my wife at home so even though I do eat ribs here I don’t feel strongly one way or the other about recommending them. I personally like ribs a little fattier but they’d get plenty of heat for serving fatty ribs! The cole slaw is very good as are the fries. If you eat out enough you know how many places screw up the fries! Every once in a while there is a hiccup in their consistency but like I said, I’m here a lot and stuff happens! If the server doesn’t immediately correct it (when possible), then a manager usually comes by and offers a freebie and an apology. This is all without complaints from us! They’re more than gracious about it and anyway I’m not here to critique the place but rather work on my fat pouch! We’ll be back again and again!!

Great Staff. We went to Smokey Bones for a friend’s birthday. Our server and the manager were both super attentive and so nice!! We couldn’t have been more pleased. Thanks Anna and Kelly 🙂

Well this was my first visit to smoky bones. We were greater by the manager and seated. He briefly explained about they’re full rack run special they had going on. So after the server came we ordered our drinks and a appetizer. Then we proceeded to order our entres, my wife wanted they’re brisket special, the server informed her they sold out earlier in the day. The basically sold out in less than three hours???? So I ordered the rib rack special, server said they sold outa them too. Same thing, three hours??? So we ordered other things that we really didn’t want. After waiting 25 min for the appetizer to show up the main corse came out two min later. My sandwich was all wrong, server had a attitude when I mentioned it to her. My wife’s steak was over cooked but she didn’t complain, because the waitress was already pissy. Needles to say ill be going to the Texas Roadhouse across the way from now on. They won’t see my patronage again.

Hostess had too much cleavage. Cornbread and meat were dry. The small container our corn came in was dirty- we thought it was stained but we were able to wipe the inside clean with our forks. Took forever to get our check.

I’m torn about what to say. While the food is normally delicious, my boyfriend and I have yet to be seated promptly, given silverware, or have a meal where we don’t send something back. Train your staff, guys.

Bar or Restaurant?. Weird atmosphere with inconsistent service. Sometimes service is great, other times it’s horrendous. What’s with the tv’s? That’s a stupid idea. We used to like this restaurant but everytime we’ve gone recently (past 18 months or so) we tell ourselves we won’t go again. But then Texas Roadhouse is packed and we end up settling for Smokey Bones.
