Tapped has a decent beer selection with most costing around $6/pour. The wine selection is passable as well. The brick oven pizza, however, was simply a disaster. The pizza was drenched in oil and loaded with way too much cheese, which led to a soggy mess….not even close to the thin, crispy crust one would expect from a brick oven pizza. Definitely my first and last trip to this restaurant.
We had the Spicy Italian pizza and and the Blackened chicken, andouille sandwich. Liked them both. We had a great server that knew we were sharing the items, so she brought the pizza out and had the cook make the sandwich after we had finished it, so we had both hot. Thank you!
The pizza here is pretty good considering it is one of the only brick oven pizza place in the area but I prefer a crispier crust than they serve. However the appetizers are pretty tasty and that’s what we normally get at happy hour after work. The calamari is good as well as the pretzels and there’s plenty of good beers including local brews.
Good beer selection. I highly recommend the beer paddle. Pizza is better than most, but it’s the pretzel that puts this place over the top.
